See Michelle Brown & Johnny Maier perform heartwrenching ballads, cool jazz, hot blues and some great dance tunes at their favourite venue on the Coast. A great spot to watch the sun set, the boats sail in and be entertained by one of the Sunshine coasts favourite performers.

Mon. Dec. 28 – Day & Evening @ Woodford Folk Festival

Join the livelyfish crowd for a day & evening at the amazing Woodford Folk Festival. If you haven’t been before here’s a chance to try it out with a couple of old regulars.

Where: Woodrow Road, Woodford – travel via Beerwah and Peachester. Turn off Kilcoy Beerwah Rd just before you meet the Daguilar Highway – Map
Meeting Point: Spaghetti Junction (inside the Festival) at 10.00 am to 10.30 am. If you miss us send an SMS to 0409 453 032 & we will let you know where you can catch us.
Cost: $94 on internet $104 at the gate
Weather: It will be either stinking hot & dry or wet, muddy & boggy (or all of the above simultaneously). Just get over it & bring suitable clothing.
Bring: A big hat, rain coat, something waterproof to keep your a%$# dry if you sit on the grass, a water bottle, sun-screen, comfortable shoes you can walk all day in and don’t mind getting muddy & ruined, something warmer to wear later at night, a mellow peaceful spirit and your sense of humour.

Psychedelia are renowned for whipping the audience into a dance frenzy, with their authentic recreation of the mood and trippy hippy hits of the 60’s and 70’s.

Release your inner hippy – celebrate a “hippy” new year. Go psycho … but in a peaceful way man. $20 in for 5 hours of partying to all those classic 60s songs…

like far out man, dudes keep laying heavy trips on us like “hey man, why dont you freaks ever do dances anymore”. . so. . well, … we are!!

Plus – be transported to other dimensions by the many incarnations of the walking talking breathing phenomenon that is the “Dr Geoffrey Waterfall Experience”.

.. and we want you to drag out your beads, flared pants and tie dyes (and put them on of course) and jump onto the time machine with us.. bound for the 60s!!

For lovers of jazz, blues, country, rock and everything in between … and dancers of all ages – featuring leading blues, R & B, soul and gospel singer Michelle Brown plus Johnny Maier on keyboards. Michelle & Johnny already have a huge following on the Coast.

Thu. Dec. 31 – Popular Social Club – New Years Eve at Annie’s – Mooloolaba

Now this is usually a mega turnout to see in the New Year. Bring your streamers and poppers and let the New Year in with a bang.

Parties commence at 7.30 pm and have an entry cost of $10.00 for Guests and $7.00 for Members. New memberships $15.00, renewal $10.00 per annum.

Early birds delight – have fun learning to do the Samba walk on the beach at Currimundi Lake – followed by breakfast. Coco’s Cafe offers two generous sized cooked breakfasts for $8.00 or you may prefer to byo as there are plenty of barbecues and picnic tables available.

Glenn is best known as lead singer of the Little River Band. In 1975, Shorrock co-founded and fronted Australian super group, the Little River Band having been the first Australian rock group to enjoy sustained commercial success in the United States with over twenty-five million records sold and having notched up thirteen American top 40 hits under their belts.
